From October 20th to 22th for the 9th edition of the Parisian Art Fair, ASIA NOW PARIS, I would like to invite you to a mesmerising exhibition featuring the exquisite artwork about Weaving Time & Space. This special event will take place at Monnaie de Paris, France and my artwork will be represented through Intersections Gallery from Singapore.
This exhibition brings together artists who have experienced the feeling of uprooting either because of a chosen migration or a forced exile by using fabric as a medium and weaving and embroidery our strive to reconnect with our roots.
From 17th to 29th October at Galerie Cecilia in Paris, an contemporary art exhibition bringing together six artists from different nationalities whose own lives or family histories have given them an intimate relationship to the terms refugee, immigrant and expatriate. Through our own lens and artistic approach, we come together to create a discourse around the current, though by no means new, and often controversial topic of immigration.
At least one of the participating artist will be presenting each day so please do not hesitate to ask for a guided tour of the exhibition. That’s what we’re here for!
