Living with fears and controlling these fears to be fearless.
This is the message of this artwork which depicts both the present and past of Myanmar culture. It shows how people of Myanmar have been politically pushed to live under the fears but still living fearless with all these difficulties and challenges.
For the people of Myanmar, who have faced decades of repression from one generation to the next, fear is a part of everyday life. However, with escape being an impossibility, learning to cope and control fear has become necessary. Living without fear, even when living under its rule, has become a vital means of resistance.
